PATTERN NOTES - must read...
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
There's no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.
Always do the 1st stitch where you slip stitch from the previous round.
The chain, in the beginning, does NOT count as one stitch unless stated otherwise.
You slip stitch on the first sc, not on top of the chain 1.
It occasionally uses an electric shock to recharge a fellow Pikachu that is in a weakened state.

ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
EARS...no need to stuff the ears, simply flatten them out. Place them on round 4 and 6.
FEET...try to find the position you like best. I place mine between round 17 and 18; approx. 1/2" apart. Only sew the 2 last rows from the feet (the flat area) to the body.
ARMS...place them right beneath the ears between round 10 and 12. There's no need to stuff them.
STRIPES...find the center of the back so they can be perfectly align and place them on the back of the body. One of them goes between round 10 & 11 and the other between round 12 & 13.
TAIL...on one of the pieces, you'll want to glue a pipe cleaner to make it bendable. Then sew the other tail onto it to cover up where we put the pipe cleaner.
Place the tail on round 15 of the body. Only sew about 2 rows, leaving the rest of the tail unsew.
EYES...using black felt make 2 circles and another 2 using white felt, but make these much smaller. Place the black circles on round 8 and 9; approx. 1" apart. The tiny white circles go on the top of the black circles.
CHEEKS...using red felt make 2 circles. You'll want them to be a bit bigger than the eyes (black circles). Place them between round 10 and 12 just right beneath the eyes on the sides.
MOUTH...using black thread or embroidery floss make its mouth on round 9. You can play around with it and make it however you like, the possibilities are endless.
